[Goodbye Chains] Thank You For Being A Friend!



An exciting opportunity, behind the cut!



Not to give too much away, but we think that this recent arc of Goodbye Chains is a great jumping-on point for new readers--shit is about to get very real, if you will. So if you have friends who you think might be interested, now might be just the time to suggest GC to them! (We recommend new readers might like to start at Tracy's first page, or they might even download the whole of Act 1 in a handy little package.) Wouldn't you like all your friends to get the same enjoyment out of gay Communist shenanigans that you do? We sure would!

But we consider all of you our friends too, and it would be pretty rude for us to ask you for a favor without reciprocating. With that in mind, we'd like to offer you a little token of our thanks if you do mention us to your friends--an exclusive 3-page comic about Colin and Banquo's time in Johnny's cabin. A prop from this story will make a few reappearances in the main story, so while you don't need to read it to understand anything in the comic, this will add an extra little detail that you might enjoy. (And yes, that panel up there really is in the story. No false advertising here!) This comic will never be posted online, and this is the only way to get it except for possibly print. It is also 100% SFW and is guaranteed canonical. Not a dream! Not an imaginary story! Just a hidden tale of two men in a cramped little cabin.

This includes not just plug postings, of course--any kind of fanwork or other relevant material qualifies as well :). This offer has no expiration date, so there's no rush. I did recommend the comic in my Deviant Art journal months back, but do websites count? My site is currently under construction, but should be done this month. Would providing a link to it in the Link section count or is it strictly lj and stuff?

Since I only got an LJ to tell you guys how awesome your comic is in the first place, it would be remiss of me not to shamelessly plug you on it. But I'm not going to, because no one reads my basically empty LJ.

I've never drawn fan art for any webcomic, but I believe I shall change this starting now. This way I can get the word out to people on dA and y!gal in a more eye-catching manner than mere text. Besides...this comic deserves lots of adoring fan art.

How long will this delightful offer be available?

Gcck! How horribly unfortunate. I've already shown it to my friends I thought would be interested, and I don't have any haunts online where anyone might actually care to click a link. And I so hate only technically fulfilling requirements rather than fulfilling their spirit...
